January 12 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents Ultrafaux

Kick off the Friday Nites concert season with acoustic powerhouse Ultrafaux! Two guitars and an upright bass feature dazzling solos and rich gypsy-inspired melodies. Ultrafaux thrilled a wide variety of audiences at jazz & folk festivals, concert halls & nightclubs since their first CD release in 2014. Central Library, Denton

January 26 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents Flatland Drive

The concert season continues with the local bluegrass favorite Flatland Drive. Band members Alan Rausch on Dobro, Lee Collins on Guitar, Curt Fox on Banjo and Rodney Collins on Bass are influenced by the patriarchs of bluegrass music, as well as the likes of Seldom Scene, Bluegrass Album Band, and Lonesome River Band. February 2 – Friday Nites in Caroline presents The Bumper Jacksons
The Bumper Jacksons’ sound is hot and sweet folk music, reflecting the colors of America’s diverse music scene from the streets of New Orleans to the hollers of the Appalachian Mountains and from jazz to swing to blues. Don’t miss this unique musical experience! Central Library, Denton

February 16 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents Walt Michael and Company
Hammered dulcimer virtuoso Walt Michael’s wide repertoire ranges from old-time Southern Appalachian to Celtic. His 35 years of musical performances have ranged from the coal camps of Appalachia to the White House to the Closing Ceremonies of the 13th Olympic Winter Games. Central Library, Denton

March 2 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents Colonel Richardson High School’s Revolution Blues
Revolution Blues is comprised of students and faculty of Colonel Richardson High School. Their musical focus ranges from Wilson Pickett to Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan and beyond. The group incorporates lean rhythm and vocals with powerhouse horns.  Members of the band have played with and recorded international acts, studied with master musicians and won awards for individual musical prowess. March 16 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents the Charles “Rahmat” Woods Trio
Specializing in great live jazz music, Charles Rahmat Woods and his ensembles have entertained audiences throughout the Maryland and D.C. area and beyond. Come out and enjoy great jazz…from swing to funk and back again! Central Library, Denton

March 23 - Friday Nites in Caroline presents The Uncle Devin Show
The Uncle Devin Show is an interactive musical experience for children that uses percussion instruments to cultivate their minds - a dynamic cross between Fat Albert and Schoolhouse. It takes children on a magical journey through the Land of Percussion allowing them to hear, see and play different percussion instruments. North County Branch, Greensboro.
